What I Build
From intelligent AI workflows to high-performance web applications — practical solutions that drive real business outcomes.
AI Automations
Custom AI workflows that automate complex tasks, extract insights from data, and streamline operations. Practical AI that solves real problems, not just impressive demos.
-
Custom chatbots and conversational AI — with streaming responses
-
Intelligent document processing — extraction, classification, summarisation
-
Multi-model orchestration — Claude, GPT, and open-source models
-
Automated decision workflows — classification, routing, and escalation
OpenClaw Installations
Full setup, configuration, and customisation of the OpenClaw AI agent platform. I get your instance running, connected, and tailored to your specific use cases.
OpenClaw is an open-source personal AI assistant that runs on your own hardware and connects to the messaging platforms you already use — WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, and more. Unlike browser-based AI chatbots, OpenClaw runs as a persistent agent that can execute tasks, access your files, connect to APIs, and work proactively on your behalf.
I provide full setup and configuration of OpenClaw instances — from infrastructure and networking through to agent personality, skill development, API integrations, knowledge base setup, and ongoing optimisation. Whether you want a personal assistant, a customer service agent, or a specialised workflow tool, I'll get your instance running and tailored to your specific use cases.
-
Full platform installation — infrastructure and environment setup
-
Custom agent configuration — prompt engineering and fine-tuning
-
API and tool integrations — connect to existing systems and data sources
-
Knowledge base and RAG setup — retrieval-augmented generation pipelines
Rails + Falcon Apps
High-performance web applications built with Rails 8 and Falcon's fiber-based async concurrency. Perfect for real-time features, streaming AI, and high-concurrency workloads.
-
Fiber-based async concurrency — high throughput, low overhead
-
Real-time streaming — Hotwire Turbo Streams and SSE
-
SQLite-backed — zero-ops deployment, simple and reliable
-
Full-stack MVPs to production — Tailwind CSS + Stimulus for interactive UIs
Legacy Automation
Modernise and automate existing business processes. I specialise in connecting legacy systems, eliminating manual workflows, and building bridges between old and new technology.
-
Process mapping and automation design — understand before you automate
-
API integrations — bridge legacy and modern systems
-
Data migration and ETL pipelines — clean, reliable data flows
-
Workflow optimisation — eliminate bottlenecks and manual steps
How I Work
I'm a solo consultant. When you work with me, you work with me — not a sales team, not a project manager, not a junior developer. I own the entire solution from database to deployment, and I'm the person you message when something needs to change.
Discovery First
Every engagement starts with understanding the problem, not pitching technology. I'll ask about your current workflows, where time is being wasted, what's been tried before, and what success actually looks like. Sometimes the answer is AI. Sometimes it's a simple automation. Sometimes it's connecting two systems that should already be talking to each other.
Build Iteratively
I don't disappear for three months and deliver a finished product. I ship working versions early and often, get your feedback on real software, and refine based on what you actually experience — not what a specification document predicted you'd need.
Engagement Models
Most of my work falls into one of three shapes:
Defined Projects
A specific problem with a clear scope. We agree on what needs to be built, I quote a fixed price, and I deliver it. The ExecuteIQ platform and the aged care practice management system both started this way.
Ongoing Development
For platforms that evolve with your business. A monthly retainer covers continued development, new features, maintenance, and support. This works well when the scope isn't fully defined upfront — which is most real-world software.
Rapid Response
Smaller, time-sensitive work. Something's broken, a critical feature is needed urgently, or you need expert help on a specific technical problem. Hourly rate, fast turnaround.
What a Typical Engagement Looks Like
- 1 Initial conversation — You tell me what you're trying to solve. I ask questions. No cost, no obligation.
- 2 Proposal — I outline the approach, technology choices, timeline, and cost. For larger projects, this includes a phased delivery plan.
- 3 Build & iterate — I develop in short cycles, sharing progress regularly. You see working software, not status reports.
- 4 Deploy & handover — I deploy to production, document what matters, and make sure you're not locked in. Your code, your infrastructure, your data.
- 5 Ongoing support — Most clients stay on for continued development. The best software evolves with the business.
I'm based on the Gold Coast (AEST), and I work with clients across Australia, New Zealand, and the US. Communication is direct — email, Slack, WhatsApp, whatever works for you. I don't hide behind ticketing systems or scheduled-for-next-sprint delays. If something's urgent, I respond.
Have a Project in Mind?
Tell me about your challenge and I'll show you how I can help. No obligation, just a conversation about what's possible.
